We both grew up spending summers on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire—swimming out to Three Mile Island, going to Appalachian Mountain Club camp. The lake has always been a part of who we are, separately and now together.
When we began looking for a place to celebrate our wedding, we knew we wanted something that felt like that—a lake, the mountains, everyone together in one place. Then we found Ogontz: a historic summer camp on a private lake in the White Mountains. It felt like us.
We chose the first weekend of October because it coincides with peak foliage in the White Mountains. The entire region transforms into brilliant oranges, reds, and golds—and we are so looking forward to sharing it with all of you.
We cannot wait to spend this weekend with the people we love. See you in the mountains.
